Meet Julia McHale

Julia has over 20 years of experience in health care. After working in resuscitation and trauma for many years she had a lightbulb moment, retrained as a PT and hasn’t looked back.

Her passion for health and fitness is evident with her ongoing learnings and certifications:

“I started Heavenly Fitness in 2018 and it has gone from strength to strength. I am blessed with a variety of clients, from folk wanting help with their nutrition or to lose weight for health reasons and cosmetic reasons. I help people who need to rehab or strengthen weak and injured areas, or who need to gain cardiovascular fitness, I love to support clients with major health issues to regain strength and vigour. I also have athletes that come to me with sports-specific goals.”

Each person is important – Julia will listen to you and work with you to come up with a plan together. “Exercise is a preventative medicine and I’m concerned that New Zealanders are more overweight now than ever before. Using my skills, plus sensible goals, I will encourage, inspire and motivate you to exercise more, eat better and feel strong.”

Here at Heavenly Fitness, we’re strong advocates of taking action to ensure long-term health.

While we work to help our clients achieve this, we also make it a goal to support charities and organisations who provide important health services to New Zealanders who need it. That’s why every 6 months, we choose a charity to sponsor and sell clothing that features their logo. 100% of those profits are then donated to the charity and everyone is encouraged to spread the word and get behind the cause.
